Target Trip 8/26/10
So, I just created this blog mainly because I was really excited about the trip I had at target today! I spent $6.32 on $24.43 worth of stuff :)...that's 75% worth of savings!!!
I love people who post their savings online and I've always wanted to start doing that, but never sat down and actually did it. Better late then never!
I just started getting into couponing a couple months ago and have realized that it can really save you a lot of money, provided you are willing to try new things and know when to stock up on things you'll need and try not to get out of hand with buying things that you really would never use. I have been able to get so many free items (i.e. bic pens, which I donated to our school supply drive at work), so it's been great!
Anyways, enough with the introduction.. here is the breakdown on the items that I purchased at Target today:
1. Glade Tough Odor Solutions Carpet & Room $1.99 ea
Used $1/1 Glade Tough Odor Solutions Target Q
Used $.75/1 Glade Carpet & Room Odor Elimator MQ
2. 2 Nature Valley Bars Boxes $2.39 ea
Used 2 $1/1 Nature Valley Multipack Target Q
Used $.50/1 Nature Valley Granola Thins MQ

Subtotal before coupons: $24.43
Subtotal after coupons: $6.06
For some reason, tax was only .26 (It says 8.75% on $2.93...maybe because they're mostly food items?).
Total OOP: $6.32
What a great deal!!! :)
